August 07, 2008. Word on the street is that Jay Z’s pockets are about to get $120 million lighter. MediaTakeOut.com has been hearing for weeks that that LiveNation deal that you’ve been hearing about is not all that it seems. According to insiders, LiveNation isn’t “required” to pay Jay anything and they have an “out clause” in the agreement - that they’re now considering using.
But don’t worry - we’re also hearing that Jay has his own “out clause.” According to one of MediaTakeOut.com’s snitches, Jay Z has been having serious negotiations with Kevin Lyles about taking his label over to Warner Records.
Oh well … easy come, easy go … It ain’t like he REALLY needed that hun’ned milli anyway.
